The Continental Sun Down Jacques Villeneuve race weekend was a success!

8 September 2009

September 8th, 2009 (Mirabel, Québec) : The Continental Sun Down Jacques Villeneuve race weekend was a success according to its promoter, Circuit ICAR. With the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship as the headlining race series, the road circuit, which is only 30 minutes away from Montreal, was delighted to have hosted the best touring car drivers in the country.

“We are really happy with the way the weekend went again this year. It is our second time at ICAR this summer and the circuit was even better than last time,” mentioned John Bondar from the CCTCC. “Circuit ICAR plays a significant role in the development of our series and we want to return on a yearly basis.”

With such positive news, ICAR is pleased to announce that the Continental Sun Down will be back next year and for years to come. Only the date needs to be determined officially.
