Mirabel, Québec - February 15, 2009 - BMW Canada held a 7 day winter driving program at the ICAR motorsport complex from February 2 to 8. The 7 one-day training sessions aimed at making winter driving safer. With over 15 participants for each session, BMW Canada relied on a crew of experienced driving coaches headed by M. Pierre Savoy. Among other things, students learned to avoid obstacles in slippery conditions as well as how to control their vehicles on the skid pad. At the end of the day, the students left the ICAR facility with their newly acquired skills and a satisfied expression on their faces.
